Parts

A list of parts needed to complete the car.  This excludes parts that will be bought new from known trade suppliers, such as rubber seals for screens, windows and doors; brake service parts, tyres etc.  Items crossed-through have already been sourced.

Interior

• Steering wheel central boss and horn button, see below for photo
• Rev counter (have outer section, not the main central mechanism and needle)
• Knobs for switches on dash (switches themselves are present)
• 2 x dash ashtray
• Glove-box lock / switch
• Rear-view mirror
• Sun visors
• Interior door handles (I got a pair from Ron but they are wrong – splined where they should have a square drive with chamfered corners). 
  
• Escutcheons and springs for winders and door handles
• Window winders (now have one, need another)
• Knob for bulkhead ventilator marked ‘Aereatore’
  
• Heater (matrix is there, but some parts missing, the cover to the rear, with ‘doors’ etc.)
• Cast surround for interior of windscreen
• Floor mats (black rubber)

Mechanical

• Gearbox
• Propshaft and propshaft mounts
• Rear driveshafts
• Rear brakes/drums
• Radiator
• Cast aluminium coolant pipes (‘cow horn’ and others)
• Reserve fuel tank switch (lever has snapped)

Exterior trim

• Bumpers (and mounts) – have front now, but not rear.
• Bumper mount covers (front, Al).  Probably easy to fabricate.
• Hubcaps
• Rear numberplate surround
• Grille
• Central (chrome?) strip from rectangular vents either side of main grille
• Windscreen metal trim (Aluminium?) – for screen rubber

Electrical & Lighting

• Dynamo (I might have a spare already, from a 6th Series B20, which should fit)
• Headlights (not bowls), including chrome outer trim
• Rear lights (I have a repro set, but would -if possible – like an original pair)
• Reversing light plastic cover
• Pair of front foglights
• Plastic (or glass) covers for front indicators
• Indicator repeaters for front wings (what style?  holes in wing don’t match repeaters seen in photos of other SIV B20s) (Decided to not fit front side repeaters.)
• Starter motor
• Horns
• Indicator lever from steering column, including retaining cover and nut
• HT Lead tubes (I know repro ones are available)

Other

• 2 wheels (correct type for SIV, 12 holes)
• Additional wheelnuts (some are missing, some incorrect – look to me like Alfa Romeo – marked ‘D’ for right-hand thread – the ‘handed’ brass nuts on a ’50s Giulietta are wheelnut porno!)
• Battery cover
• Battery cover retaining clamps
• Jack, tools…
• Windscreen wipers

‘Incompleto’ indeed when bought, but the back of the missing parts problem has been broken after a visit to Ron Francis on 10th February 2011.  Thanks Ron.
